Jax

It's hard to believe that Jax is 9 months already!  He is quite the crazy man and total opposite of Brody.  He is army crawling and regular crawling everywhere.  He really likes standing up, so anything and everything he can pull himself up on he will.  He adjusted very well to his crib and his own room (yes he had been sleeping in his pack-n-play in our room in the condo...for 8 months).  We did have to lower the crib to the lowest setting because he was pulling himself up immediately.  When put on the ground I swear he makes a b-line to where he shouldn't go such as the outlets!  I swear we didn't even have to put the plug protectors in with Brody (even though we did to be safe).  This past week has has finally started to sleep through the night...I really hope I am not jinxing it.  Getting him to take a nap is the hardest thing to do these days...he is not a fan of going down, but we are working on it.  He is a ball of energy with a smile always on his face.

1st Day of School

I know I am a tad bit behind on posting :)  Brody started school the last week of August.  He goes Monday-Thursday for 2 1/2 hours in the afternoon.  HE LOVES IT!  Everyday he tells us about his new friends and when I ask about what he did that day he always tells me they got to play outside and what they had for snack.  Although randomly through out the day he will say something he learned (the other day he showed me where the title of the book was), or sing a song I have not heard of.  It doesn't hurt that he has the best preschool teacher in the world :)

Remember Us?

Hi!!  Remember the days when I used to blog?  Me either :)  Well after moving, starting back to work, Brody starting preschool, unpacking, unpacking and more unpacking I have had no time for anything else.  I will post pictures this weekend I promise!  Things have been going great....just busy busy busy.

On a funny/good note, last night Brody decided on his own that he could pee standing up!  He even did it all by himself.  I was trying to put Jax to sleep and he came out of his room to tell me he had to go to the bathroom.  When he came back he said "Mama, I have something to tell you.....I peed standing up!"  At first I wasn't sure but he took me to the bathroom and re-inacted what he did. In the morning he did it again and made sure I saw.  This was always in the back of my mind after he was potty trained, how we would teach him...but I should have known he figured it out himself :)
