Christmas in Cleveland

After Christmas we headed up to Cleveland to visit with Jamie's dad, step mom and 2 brothers who were coming in from Washington. His sister and her family were there along with a few aunts, uncles and cousins we hadn't seen in a ver long time. It was a full house but we had a lot of fun. Rockband was a huge hit, especially with Brody and Owen.

Born to be wild :)We took a trip to the Natural History Museum, and Brody loved seeing all of the animals. They also had a huge dinosaur exhibit and Jeremy Brody's uncle taught him how to say Triceratops!Hanging out with Uncle Johnny.

Checkin out the wolves with Uncle Jeremy.
This is what happens when a Michigan fan makes a bet with an Ohio State fan. You look good in scarlet and gray Far Far!!!

Christmas Morning Con't

The Christmas festivities continued on to Mamo and Papa's house where we ate a wonderful breakfast and opened more presents!

It was very hard for him not to open the presents before breakfast.

So Mamo gave in and let him open 1 :) He was so excited!

and this one is a little zoned out...

Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas this year. Brody as predicted got way too many presents! Brody actually slept in till 8:30 on Christmas morning. He usually gets up between 7 and 7:30. I thought Jamie was going to go crazy waiting for him to get up and see all of his presents. Grandma Julie came down to spend Christmas eve and day with us. It was great! This is a picture of them before going to church.

Opening presents with dada.
Brody's favorite new toy- a pirate ship!

This was a candle that Jamie got me. For some reason Brody loved it! He carried it around all morning and had Santa playing with him and his new toys. I guess next year it's going to be candles instead of toys :)

New fire helmet and gas mask :)

1st Snow

Yesterday it finally snowed! We had to stop at Mamo and Papa's house to get a few things and we realized it had snowed a few more inches than at our house. So of course we had to go out and play. We wern't really prepared clothes wise to play in the snow so we used what we had. Brody is wearing Papa's hat. It makes his head look huge! (more than normal)

Santa!

We went to see the Fantasy of Lights a place where you drive around and see a ton of Christmas lights and midway through you can get out and see Santa. Brody did so much better this year. All he ever talks about is Santa and anything else that involves Christmas. This Santa was great and it was nice because he was in a separate room not out in the open like the mall.

He didn't want to sit on Santa's lap but he was good with the reindeer.

A little unsure still, but ok to hold his hand :)

Enjoying some good conversation

Now they are best friends!

This is the closest we got to a smile.

Flashback to last year!

Having fun

We went to a wonderful wedding last Saturday for my step-mom Anne and her new hubby Jeff. Brody was hamming it up for the camera.

He is really starting to love sticking his tongue out, and licking whatever is in reach.

So GQ.

Early Christmas

We went to Delta last weekend to visit Grandma Julie, Uncle Steve, Aunt Jenny, Owen and our newest nephew Carson! We had a lot of fun :)

Somehow the boxes are always more fun than the actual presents!

Random

Whenever I am in the kitchen cooking or cleaning, Brody goes into the pantry, stands on the tool box and opens and shuts the door. Each time he opens it he says "mama!! chocolate chips and doritos!"

This is probably one of the best shots I have gotten of his ever growing mullet. :) We have been starting to get people telling us to cut his hair, but we just don't want to. Although after looking at this pic for a while I might start considering it.

Halloween part 2

To much of my suprise I was able to get Brody in his Halloween costume on Saturday. He was still feeling a little sick but didn't make too much of a fuss. He didn't want to wear his head piece that much, but we were able to get a few pics which was all I wanted :) He did not want to be put down, so we wern't able to get the full costume. I guess you can't be picky. This picture was taken right after I put the costume on...don't mind the weirdo in the background :) (Nice shorts Nay Nay)

The lion with Troy Polamalu.

Papa got to wear the lion hat pretty much all night.

We went to about 4 houses...Brody did not want to walk, but he did say Trick or Treat very quietly and thank you which was cute. When we got back to the house he wanted me to open all the candy. He wouldn't eat it, he kept giving me a piece and saying "see".
