Yo Gabba Gabba

This past weekend we drove down to Cincinnati on Saturday to see Yo Gabba Gabba live. We had a great time. Brody watched the show like he does tv, in a trance. I kept asking if he was having fun and he said yes :) When we left he said "watch yo gabba on that tv!!'' and was upset we were leaving. So I'm not sure if he thought he was just watching a huge tv or what.


Not sure, if it was the lighting or becuase my camera recently has been dropped a million times, but the pictures color wasn't the clearest.

Lately Brody has really been trying to interact with our cat Henry. Usually Henry will just run from him, but this day they both sat on my lap for quite a long time.

While in Michigan this weekend, Brody and his cousin Owen got to hang out a lot. Their favorite thing to do was run around and be silly. I was able to get this picutre as they were watching Elmo in the morning.

They found a new love for the pack-n-play. I think this was the most time Brody has ever spent in one.

There was a nice "quiet room" for Brody and Owen to play in during the service for Jamie's Grandpa. We were told that the room was pretty much sound proof, so Steve and I let Brody and Owen have lots of fun. About half way through the service we got a text saying that you could hear the boys throughout the church! After getting the text we got them to quiet down, but everyone said it was actually nice hearing the kids laughing in the background.

This weekend we went up to Michigan because Jamie's grandpa Nick passed away. He was a wonderful man and will be missed greatly.

We got to spend a lot of time with Far Far (Jamie's dad) and grandma Janet who lives in Seattle. Brody was Far Far's shadow all weekend :)

At least someone likes the snow

Last week all it did was snow! We didn't leave the house much, Brody thought it was so much fun to play in the toy box with the stuffed animals on top of him.

Brody loves playing hide and seek! He has gotten a lot better at hiding and staying in that spot till you find him. I would say this was one of his more clever hiding spots :)

Not much has been going on with all the snow and cold. Lot's of just hanging around the house. Brody lately has been into pirates and dinosaurs. He was very excited to wear this new shirt..especially because it glows in the dark :)

Jamie found a Yoga for Kids video in our on demand section for the t.v. To our suprise Brody loves it! He tries to follow along and it's just too cute. It is a nice relaxing time for him and dada.

Bounce House

We went to Kingdom of Bounce with Brody's friend Emmy. It was soo much fun!!! We were worn out after being there for 2 hours. It was hard to get good pics since they were moving the whole time :)

Socks on!

We haven't done much lately so I don't have any pictures to post. I do have a cute story about what Brody is doing these days. About a week ago, he was running around our house with Mamo having a great time when he tripped (probably on nothing) and skinned 2 of his toes on the same foot pretty bad. After he was "ok" he kept looking at his toes, and saying "boo boo, hurts" then would start crying agian. I told him that we would put socks on and it would make it all better. Well he really took this to heart. I think he has had his socks off for about 5 minutes total this past week. Any time we take them off, he gets really upset and starts talking about his boo boo and how it hurts. Now, he even takes a bath in his socks! It's pretty funny :) He will let Jamie take them off for a minute to wash his feet only becuase Jamie tells him that we will put new socks on when he is done with the bath. What is even more funny to me is that before all of this he never wanted his socks on. As soon as we would get home the first thing he would say is shoes and socks off! Should be interesting as to what he does when his boo boo is all better.

It takes a village...

Brody got his first hair cut! The mullet was growing nicely, but at uneven speeds. The hair behind his ears was a lot longer than the hair in the middle. So much longer that I could put his hair in little pigtails (which I only did once, just to see how funny it would be). I was told not to post those pics :) My mom used to cut hair, so we just sat him on a stool and did it. I don't even think he realized what was going on except that everyone was paying a lot of attention to him which he is used to at Mamo and Papa's house.

The end result. Not much hair was taken off but at least its even around the back. To us, it makes him look older :(

More Snow!

We got about 4 inches of snow today so when Jamie got home from work we decided to go out and play! We lasted about 15mintues, but it was a lot of fun. Brody looked liked the little brother from Christmas story walking around in his coat.


Notice the pink mittens! Many thanks to our neighbor who let us borrow them (they have 2 girls) because I somehow forgot to buy Brody any for the season.
