Whenever I am in the kitchen cooking or cleaning, Brody goes into the pantry, stands on the tool box and opens and shuts the door. Each time he opens it he says "mama!! chocolate chips and doritos!"


This is probably one of the best shots I have gotten of his ever growing mullet. :) We have been starting to get people telling us to cut his hair, but we just don't want to. Although after looking at this pic for a while I might start considering it.

Halloween part 2

To much of my suprise I was able to get Brody in his Halloween costume on Saturday. He was still feeling a little sick but didn't make too much of a fuss. He didn't want to wear his head piece that much, but we were able to get a few pics which was all I wanted :) He did not want to be put down, so we wern't able to get the full costume. I guess you can't be picky. This picture was taken right after I put the costume on...don't mind the weirdo in the background :) (Nice shorts Nay Nay)

Papa got to wear the lion hat pretty much all night.

We went to about 4 houses...Brody did not want to walk, but he did say Trick or Treat very quietly and thank you which was cute. When we got back to the house he wanted me to open all the candy. He wouldn't eat it, he kept giving me a piece and saying "see".

No tricks or treats...

Jamie has been home all week with the flu. We tried our best to keep Brody from getting sick, but Thursday he started not feeling good. So we did not get to go trick or treating :( Saturday night we will try again at Mamo and Papa's and hopefully get some pics of him in his costume.

Birthday fun con't...

Last Saturday we continued with Brody's birthday celebrations. He got to open a gift from us in the morning.

In the afternoon we went to Mamo and Papa's for a family party. He was loving his 2 balloon.

Birthday Fun

We started out Sunday with a good breakfast. These days Brody only wants to sit in a regular chair. He has been doing pretty well eating from it, but at times it can get messy. Notice that Brody is having a bit of a bad hair day. I try to wet it down, but it doesn't help.

Brody's cousin Owen was in town and came over to play. They had a great time together.

How time flies!

Brody's birthday was today. I can't believe he is 2! We had a small family celebration since Jamie had drill. We are going to have the big family party next saturday. It is so amazing how much they grow in the 1st 2 years.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to a pumpkin patch with a few friends. It was a lot of fun and a lot to do! Before we left I was trying to get a cute picture of Jamie and Brody. Brody did not want to smile.


So they did mean faces instead :)

Back on Track

Hopefully now I will be back on track with taking pictures and updating a lot more often. Brody has been sick off and on the past 2 weeks :( So, that is the reason for the lack of pics. He has fully recovered and ready to turn 2!!!

Anything can turn into a hat.

One of his favorite things to do is dance, but it is so hard to get a pic of him in action. I was able to get this one somehow.

I'm thinking we need to look for a longer couch for him :)

DaDa Grip

Jamie and Brody play this game called "the DaDa grip" where Jamie flips Brody over and swings him back and forth. Brody asks Jamie to do this on a daily basis.
