We took Brody yesterday to the doctor with us to see my 20 week ultrasound. He did such a good job. He kept asking where the color on the tv was :) The doctor gave him his own ultrasound picture that he could hold, and while we were scheduling our next appointment he was running around the office yelling "I have a baby! I have a baby!" It was too cute. We can only hope he is this excited when the baby comes. My due date is December 8th.

Brody has been sleeping great in in new bed. Usually though when I put him down for a nap I can hear him running around in his room. I need a camera for his room to see what he is doing. I assume he just picks out different things and puts them in his bed, because after his nap his bed is usually covered with random items. This day when we got him up, he had found his monkey hat :)

Big Boy Bed
Brody has never once tried to climb out of his crib or complained about his crib. So we kept him in it as long as possible! We started talking about getting a big boy bed a while ago, but he never seemed interested so we just watied. He has always been such a good sleeper and napper (anywhere between 2-4 hours a day) we didn't not want to mess with a good thing. Last weekend though he woke up and said he was too big for his crib and wanted a big boy bed. So we got him a bed (thanks again Lauren!). He really liked helping dada put up his new bed.
If you can see he is sleeping on a snowman pillowcase. Before we got the bed I asked him what kind of sheets he wanted and he said "snowman!!" He is always talking about winter, when can we see Santa and build snowmen. I have a feeling he might live somewhere with snow all year round when he gets older. I started to panic because I thought, where in the world am I going to find snowman sheets in July!? Well just my luck, the first place I looked (Bed, Bath and Beyond) had them! They are flannel, but not too heavey so we decided to just do the pillowcase and Brody loves it!!! He only likes being coverd up with his Tatee (his word for his blanket) so we didn't even need a top sheet :)
