Another fun fishing trip, this time with Dada and Papa!
Although fishing is fun, Brody seems to really like throwing rocks in the water more or playing with a stick :) Brody did catch 1 fish, but per usual did not want to get too close.
Brody got a new Spiderman fishing pole and loves it! It has a plastic fish you can put on the end, so he practices casting and reeling it in at home.
We went to Sharon woods to try out the new fishing pole.
This is not the greatest picture, but Brody caught the only fish that day. He casted into the water, but then gave me the pole to reel it in. I'm not sure if he realized he had caught a fish. I do love his face....looks totally grossed out!
We finally got Brody's hair cut for real. The first time it was to just even out the back, but now the mullet is gone! He looks like such a kid now (instead of a baby). I was sad to see it go, but it looks much better.
He likes for us to build him a "nest" to sit in :)
We had a fun and busy Easter Sunday. Brody woke up and colored eggs with dada. (I know this should have been done before Easter, but this will probably be my last year to get away with waiting).
Opening his Easter basket at Mamos.
Brody got lot's of fun toys from the Eater bunny including a soccer ball, football, t-ball set and a Diego figure (which he loves!)
Brody was very happy to be able to eat his favorite; M&M's. For some reason he decided to pull up his chair right next to the fireplace and eat by himself. It was very cute to watch, he was concentrating very hard.
Saturday New Albany had an Easter egg hunt. We had lots of fun! Brody was excited to get the eggs before it started, but once we went out in the field he did not want to pick up any of the eggs! He was more happy with me doing it, but he did like opening the eggs to find candy and toys.
This past weekend we drove down to Cincinnati on Saturday to see Yo Gabba Gabba live. We had a great time. Brody watched the show like he does tv, in a trance. I kept asking if he was having fun and he said yes :) When we left he said "watch yo gabba on that tv!!'' and was upset we were leaving. So I'm not sure if he thought he was just watching a huge tv or what.
Not sure, if it was the lighting or becuase my camera recently has been dropped a million times, but the pictures color wasn't the clearest.
DJ Lance glasses :)
Hanging out after the show with Brody's friends Emmy and Emerson.
Lately Brody has really been trying to interact with our cat Henry. Usually Henry will just run from him, but this day they both sat on my lap for quite a long time.
While in Michigan this weekend, Brody and his cousin Owen got to hang out a lot. Their favorite thing to do was run around and be silly. I was able to get this picutre as they were watching Elmo in the morning.
They found a new love for the pack-n-play. I think this was the most time Brody has ever spent in one.
There was a nice "quiet room" for Brody and Owen to play in during the service for Jamie's Grandpa. We were told that the room was pretty much sound proof, so Steve and I let Brody and Owen have lots of fun. About half way through the service we got a text saying that you could hear the boys throughout the church! After getting the text we got them to quiet down, but everyone said it was actually nice hearing the kids laughing in the background.
