B-day Party

This weekend we went to Delta to celebrate Brody's cousin Owen's 1st birthday. Brody had a lot of fun seeing everyone and playing with owens new toys :)

Brody did pretty well with the pinata. The only issue was after he was done he wanted to hit anything else within reach.

18 months

Brody turned 18 months last weekend. The Dr. visit went great execpt the usual drama. As soon as we walked into the room he clenched on to me and started to get upset. He is not a fan of having to sit on the table with the Dr. The Dr. even said "if you weren't going to grow up to be the size of an average fullback I would call you a drama queen." Brody is getting so big, and now that he is 18 months he has a whole new schedule including:

Fun with Papa

Brody had lots of fun with Papa raking in the yard. He loves being outside :)

Happy Easter

This Easter seemed to be a 2nd Christmas for Brody :) He got a new tent from grandma and papa. He had so much fun!

I thought I would put this picture in to show what a difference a year makes! Nate looks the same (he ages so gracefully) but Brody looks so little. I did somehow manage to dress him in the same color 2 years in a row.

No Pants!

Brody's favorite thing to do these days is get his diaper changed (Ya Right!). After his new diaper is on he thinks it is funny to flip over really quick on his belly and try to get away from you. So instead of fighting this I let him roam around the house with out any pants on (or on his head). He gets a kick out of it.

Little Helper

Brody loves imitating everything we do and as of lately it has been cleaning!! We have no complaints and we hope this stays with him forever :)

Internet Down!

We have been having major issues with our computer over the past few weeks with the internet not working, so I apologize for not being able to update the blog! It has been driving me nuts. It is finally working (for now) and as I type I can hear Brody who has just woken up from his nap. So hopefully if all is well this weekend, I will add more pics!! :)

ZOO!

Saturday was such an awsome day! It was around 70 degrees out, so we decided to take our first trip to the zoo. Brody loved looking at the turtles and the fish.

Even before we got out of the parking lot Brody was fast asleep. What a day!

But as long as he wasn't going very high or fast, he was ok!

While dad put the doors back on the den, Brody had to be apart of the action. He was using the paint stick as a screwdriver. (I am not sure what is going on with our cat's possessed eyes.)

Hat!

Brody loves wearing his hats around the house. He can now even put them on himself. It looks kinda funny becuase he doesn't pull it down around his ears.....I'm not even sure how it stays on half the time.

This hat is from when he was a few months old. You can barely see it, but it just sits on the back of his head.

Eating

Brody is really wanting to feed himself. At times he won't even eat without having a spoon or fork. In this case he couldn't decide which one to use.

It's Official!

Mark it down in the books, Brody is officially walking!!! It only took him till he was 1000% sure that he could do it. But now the monster is loose and can not be stopped :) Total time from when he took his first steps till now: 3 months.

Go Steelers!

Brody was all geared up for the Super Bowl, good thing he knows how to root for a winning team :)


He didn't really watch much of the game, even though he had his very own seat. The dinosaur was much more fun.

Breakfast

In the morning for breakfast Brody usually snacks on some Cheerios while I get the rest of his food ready. This morning though, he decided to put a Cheerio on his head and say "hat!" It was sooo funny, and suprisingly it stayed on his head long enough for me to get a few pics.
